| Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs launches eHRM |
|
The Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs, a government organization responsible for providing human resources to the public sector by formulating policies that govern the public sector and regional administration went live with its eHRM project on 21st January 2010. hSenid, the premier HR software development company, was responsible for providing the combined services system and HR workflow management module (includes leave management, transfer, confirmation, exam, promotion, service retirement, cadre, disciplinary and organization chart modules) to the MPA.
The solution maintains over 45,000 records of public sector employees who belong to 14 all-island services and working in public agencies scattered all over the island.

Dr. Sarath Amunugama, the chief guest at this prestigious occasion, addressed the gathering with a positive note towards ICT and its impact on Sri Lanka. He also stressed on the expected level of efficiency to be seen in public sector organizations in the near future.
